I remember he was invited to my campus by MeCHA (of all people) back in the '90s to speak. The brownskins paid for his travel expenses and a hefty sum to Duke himself. A White female student tried unsuccessfully to get a court order blocking Duke from speaking. The day of his speech, mexcrements staged a "mini-riot" protesting his presence, even though it was MeCHA who invited him to speak and paid him for his time! Duke didn't speak, since the campus was covered with riot police on horseback herding mexicans around. He still got paid for it though.

Duke gets mainstream respect in Slavic and Moslem countries. He couldn't even rent a lecture hall in most cities of the US without keeping it secret until the last minute. That would get old fast.

Ron Doggett tried to bring Duke to speak at a Sheraton hotel in Henrico County (just outside of Richmond), VA in 2003, but the hotel cancelled at the very last minute due to bomb threats from the Jewish Defense League. Duke did end up speaking at a hotel in Ashland, VA, the location of which was kept secret to everyone (except the people attending) until hours before the event. The crowd size did suffer a bit because of the last minute change, but the conference room was still filled to near capacity.
